My whole body aches and whenever I try to ask for deep heat/voltaren/tiger balm they all look at me like I'm mad.
Am I missing something? What should I be looking/asking for?

Am onsen only really helps for the duration of the onsen.
I have a follow up question - my nose is dripping now. I understand proper sudafed is illegal but I can't even find tissues. Whats the go do I buy a pack of masks and just let my nose drip over my face? Is there any relief available?

My youngest had a cold with a shocking sore throat. We gave these a shot and he said they helped. (Along with a betadine sore throat gargle that we had brought with us at some stage).

    • Acetaminophen (pain reliever, fever reducer) 900mg
    • Bromide iodide (stops runny nose) 6mg
    • d-chlorpheniramine (antihistamine) 3.5mg
    • Tranexamic acid (relieves throat pain) 420mg
    • Dihydrocodeine phosphate (cough suppressant) 60mg
    • Caffeine anhydrous (stimulant) 75mg
    • Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 12mg
    • Hesperidin (citrus flavanone

    Correct.
You just can’t bring it in.
But it’s on the shelf and no prescription required.

mmm trip to the drug store required with pics loaded on phone.

Love the vitamin c we get over here. 2000mg, yep 2gm, tablets, lots in the bottle, either 143 or some weird number like that, for less than 1,000 yen. Winner!
