I see there's a new cam on the top of Heavenly Valley unload.
Will work well until it’s covered in Diesel engine exhaust.
That's a beauty!
I recognise those exhausts;
I'd say that's mounted on the custom bracket I had fabricated in 2007 for the original Heavenly PTZ cam. Though I placed it about 12" lower to avoid the winds a bit.
Without doubt, the harshest snow cam location in Au. Shaking all day atop the chair unload station and hanging in there all night with the winds that whip over that ridge. Got blown by lightning strikes twice and busted at least four or five heating elements in the eight years I serviced it.
Great spot for it, offers a perspective that's hard to get from other Hotham cams.
Also known as the Razorback/Eagle Ridge Cam
Also known as the goes blank at the first sign of a proper snow storm cam... Is it REALLY that hard to make a cam stay on in 2018? I know it's a bloody exposed spot, but surely that would have been taken into consideration?
It is exquisite.
Best cam in the country by ****ing miles.
All other snow cams are herewith obsolete and due for immediate replacement.
Did You see Me on the cam. today? The skiing was awesome.
