Anyone seeking a memorable New Year's Eve gig should check-out the numerous parties around the alpine resort.

The Sly Dog and the Howlers will be doing a gig on New Year's Eve at The Man.

Milch Cafe & Bar is also offering live entertainment (of a more subdued
variety) to spice up its New Year's Eve celebration.
A two-course dinner is $99 per head including a live two piece band.
The traditional New Year's Eve shindig will be held at the Falls Creek Hotel, in the heart of Falls Creek, and The Produce Store @ Huski will also be open for revellers on the last evening of the year.

On New Year's Eve at Falls Creek is it is easy to get home! There's no waiting a long line-up for a taxi - guests can walk to their apartment or lodge after the magical midnight hour has passed.

And next morning kids can be 'deposited' with well-trained staff at the Summer Kids Club before parents decide between a brisk walk, a Mt Bike ride, a scenic chair ride (to lofty heights above the village) or a casual brunch to help the mind and body recover from the previous night's celebrations.

Well-priced two to three day New Year's Eve accommodation packages are available from Falls Creek Central Reservations
    1800 033 079 or check-out the resort's website www.fallscreek.com.au

The best event ever in Falls Creek was the Melenium Party at cloud nine, our family was there and had a fantastic evening. Should be one there to see in every new decade as well.

"I've been advised by Falls Creek Resort Management the Summer Kids Club isn't a child minding facility - so parents can not drop their children off there - its about providing activities rather than babysitting!

The kids club won't be operating on New Years Day.
Probably the same story for the Park Ranger's guided walks - they are either having a well-earned rest or they are busy checking the campsites in Victoria's largest alpine park.

"There's also going to be a number of café's and restaurants open on New Year's Day ( to help sore heads recover) and one other option is a relaxing treatment at the endota day spa in the Huski complex.
