Threading the needle of cloud and high wind at this time of year. Looks like some breaks ahead though. I'm not doing this flight, but you'll be in good hands. Enjoy readjustment to the real world. Loved the TR - looking fwd to your next one next year

Thx. and No.Welcome back to reality mate did the missus fly down?
yep.Was watching the changing forecasts ping on my phone and looking at the wx obs as I was paddling along the Murray with the missus and kids. Gusting 51kts and <1000m visibility in blowing snow early, but dropped off later improving the vis. They threaded the needle just nicely. See you in October

Impossible plan in advance with any confidence.
Headed up to Q next week for a couple of weeks.

Snowbird eta around 1600, I was sceptical tho the viz was good.
winds abated while I stood there waiting outside, for my last fix of extreme and endurance ....
great job by the BOM forecasters and Skytraders experience to pull the trigger.

I have an old VHS of a film a guy I know made in the 90's on a self funded climbing trip, he is in a tent with the voice over going, highest, driest, then the sound comes up and you hear the rain on the tent.
He mentions GW.
