night skiing

    sorry to raise anothr issue...but does falls have night skiing?
    if so, can someone tell me everything about where it is and what runs are open during it an wat days is it on....is it worth doing?

    well the last 2 times i hav been there was no night skiing, but apparently they o have it
    someone else will poblly give u the low down on: what runs? what lifts? when and where and times and stuff.

    Normally Wednesday and Saturday night, with gully chair open, there's usually other stuff going on those nights as well.

    don't they charge extra for it these days? I did it in '03 and it was great..

    surely if you have a pass for that day or for the whole week you could ski the same slopes with the lights on - i think it is horse shite that they are charging extra for it.

    yep its another $15 or some bs, OR you could go and have 4 slides on the tube for $15...

    Does anyone know why they stopped night skiing on summit?

    Was the best night skiing in oz, had a few fun nights up there.

    I spoke to a patroller 2 years ago and he told me it was because some skiers left the slot run and tried to reach South Gully, and ended up getting lost in the 'desert' (the bit between Summit, Scott and Ruined). They should start it up again though, the gully's a waste of time.

    yeah scary as hell down Gully with shadows everywhere - quite a surreal feeling - a bit like you are flying. Very cool.

    Last tim eI night skied was 2004 and it was free from memory (with a week lift pass obviously)
