A return trip to Norway (particularly the Lofoten region again).
    Antartica would be pretty rad.
BC Canada is also right up there for a trip with the bikes.

Thinking of taking the kids backpacking through Lombok to the Gili’s and Komodo not really bucket list worthy though.

Nepal, was on the list but was missed due to unrest in the early 2000’s then kids got in the way, so there Tibet and Mongolia.

Initially I would have said this does not compute as I have never done this. But I am planning on Europe in spring/summer 2021. My sister is keen to come with me so I can be guide/interpreter for our relatives in Austria. Also looking to catch a couple of music festivals.

Canada (in particular Icefields Parkway) was always on my list which we were able to do last August.
At the moment I’d say Northern Lights as well.

Bucket list to me is slightly unobtainable.

You need to actually make an effort to cross them off.

As opposed to skiing. Not on the bucket list, it just is!

But then there is skiing in Japan, Europe, North America, South America, India, NZ etc all to cross off.

Sweden. I have friends there I’d really like to go visit. I don’t know what Sweden is like for skiing, but I’d work it in if I could.

I have little desire to travel on a summer holiday and would enjoy the different winters that we don't see here in Perth.

However, if I had to do summers, it would be northern scotland, norway, antarctica, or canada

The Atlantic Rd in Norway looks interesting

I would also enjot one of those Porsche Driving Experiences, say over the Stelvio Pass

@Kletterer I went to Fontainebleau earlier this year and was strangely underwhelmed, despite my regard for Napoleon. Château de Vincennes was more my thing.

my first snow holiday was in 1994, and since then that's the only holiday I do.

There are lots of other places I'd like to visit but while I can only afford one holiday a year it has to be snow.

I'm also not really into the cities and the cultural side of it, except for perhaps visitng something like a Porsche /Ferrari/Lamborgini/Audi/yougetthepicture museum/factory

Thinking about it, Patagonia, around Fitzroy and The Torres during a nice weather window would be great.

I know that feeling. I seriously looked into moving there at one point. My friend and I have known each other since we were 12 and started out as pen pals. The last time I went over there, our bags got stranded at Frankfurt for a little over 24 hours. I had been dealing with a then Mstr 2.5 having a meltdown while checking in at Sydney and hubby missed the instruction that we needed to notify Cathay at Frankfurt to check our bags onto our connecting Lufthansa flight to Gothenburg, even though the bag tags had the correct info on them for our Frankfurt-Gothenburg flight on them. I suspect that if hubby wasn’t a fluent speaker of German (we rang Cathay in Frankfurt as soon as we got to our friend’s place), it would have taken a lot longer to get our bags back, if at all.
