I know it takes a bit longer / a good season for Olympic to open up, but what's the go with North Perisher T-Bar? I would have thought it would be open as there's about 90cm of coverage. Is it still a bit patchy out there?

No, it's not that patchy. I skiied around Interceptor and the North P t-bar area on Monday and it was lovely. They had groomed the t bar track too so I'm surprised it's not open yet. Perhaps they're waiting for the weekend crowds to justify the expense of getting another lift operator in ....

The hardest part of north p to get open is the load point at the bottom. The track narrows down at the bottom, and doesn't hold snow well. They have to build up the T-bar track. I haven't been right down the bottom this season, but I would think that would potentially be the problem

With the amount of snow around surely they would be able to sort this bottom problem with a bit of bulldozing

North P is often the last to open and first to close.
Aspect and all that plays a big part.

Olympic is normally last to open, but North Perisher would be second last.

Olympic likewise is best before the traverse ruts get put in
