12mm woudl be close. Rained a good bit this morning. Some torrential rain here over the last 2 hours. It has been a decidedly colder day today than forecast over most of the metro.
It's still just 15. 4 C here, the highest so far, with occasional light showers. Haven't seen the sun at all.
Terrey Hills is only on just 10.4 C, with coincidently, 10.4 mm's of rain so far. It appears via the radar that it has been raining on the Northern Beaches for most of the day. Maybe @Jasper Schwarz could confirm. There's been 12 mm's at Allambie since 9 am.
Mt Boyce has only reached 7.2 and impressively, Nullo Mountain just 5.8.
Be interesting to see what the storm potential will be like, though it favours more SE QLD at this stage. Still early days in the storm seasonSurface low that establishes itself over central NSW on Wednesday just dropped 10mm/hour into Perth in the last hour, with hail too.
Perth rarely gets those sorts of rainfall rates.
Might be some upgrades to moisture this arvo IMO.
Friday Arvo is the severe storm window for SE QLD. There's an abundance of potential by Friday evening IMO.Be interesting to see what the storm potential will be like, though it favours more SE QLD at this stage. Still early days in the storm season

It maxed at just 16-17° at most Sydney sites today. It was mostly overcast with some sunny breaks mid-afternoon. I got caught in a light shower around 5:30 PM.Cold miserable day, with the maximum of 18C reached, very fleetingly.
Some brief light showers, but 0mm recorded at Maitland…
It was a fair bit sunnier down this way, there were only a few times where the cloud was more dominant than blue sky. But yet the max only reached 14.8 at Bellambi. I checked out the beach mid morning and the wind really did have some bite to it.It maxed at just 16-17° at most Sydney sites today. It was mostly overcast with some sunny breaks mid-afternoon. You should post this in the event thread.Holy crap! I stopped about 500m short of a tornado today! And only because of the hail, I had no idea that it was in there behind a wall of rain and hail. Only reason I stopped was because the hail was getting bigger, and my new ute only has 1200km on it... Lucky I did!
Here's some photos of the damage and hail etc
yep, we're over here if you need us:Sparkles to the NW.
PNG... dat punching bag for La Nina. Some serious saturation in the ground that doesn't look like changing very ripe for a flood. Hopefully, the run-up to December does dry it up. As temperatures warm in that region especially Southern NSW/Northern Victoria. Looks like a decent amount of rain coming up but heat will definitely be a factor. Hoping this translates to a better bushfire season though across the East Coast.
