Resource Observations 2020 Spencer’s Creek snow depth

    Yep. I have a theory about those easterlies. A good season can't be had if the westerlies go missing for too long (obviously) but easterlies often save our bacon in NSW at least when the westerlies do go missing. There a bunch of seasons that would have been very bare indeed until well into August without them. Granted the snow surface after an easterly is also often pretty dodge.

    Similar stuff to be found on the BHPs, including my favourite copse of Pauciflora which I reckon well over 500 years..

    2020 has effectively finished. Spencers at 12.2 cm 13th Oct and by today any reading is just a meaningless average of patches
