Indeed. Going into the storm tomorrow afternoon at Buller. Probably won't get to ski tomorrow, but the weekend should be great.
Steady rain North Perisher...
steady rain the eastern burbs of Melb. Heading to Buller shortly - looks like it's going to be a wet morning. Hoping it turns before the kids IS events after lunch today.
P weather station increasing in temps very quickly, very weird but gone from 2 to 8 degrees in one hour.

There's currently rain drumming on the roof and 9.7 degrees down at the base of the mountain.
Raining at buller but not heavy yet. 4mm according to BOM.
All seems very reminiscent of a system we had around late august last season
Thin cloud around northern KNP, getting much thicker heading towards MEL.

Buller temps dropping per AWS. At 0.1 degrees.

Mt Buller, 11am. Now this is more like your typical interschool weather!
Clear snow started at Falls about 30 minutes ago. Temps dropping as clear shows signs of turning to wet snow ATM. Very wet skiers entering the cafe.

Now snowing at Falls at The Basin - wet, not settling but fakes are a falling
Moderate to heavy snow now at Falls, settling on grass & rooftops. Much needed top up has arrived with minimal prefrontal.
Rain/drizzle starting to get a bit heavier at Thredbo . Wet snow at the very top of the mountain, but still positive temps. Won't be long now!
Sleet began at Hotham at 10 am, started pouring at about 10:30 which became snow half way up Heavenly.
Blizzard conditions now - starting to accumulate nicely.

Yuk!!! Shouldn’t be long before it turns. Temps down to 3c according to perisher valley bom obs. Was 9.2c at 7am.

Nuked for a couple hours, seems like maybe 10cm on southern slopes.
Bit of fun, pretty heavy.
Top of mountain has heavy wet snow falling.....started that way circa 12:30 when we bailed.
Below that it’s currently wet.
