Light snow on and off this afternoon at Hotham, although when I left at 4 pm it just puking.
Still puking at Dinner Plain - they've probably picked up another 5-10 cm.

Buller road is absolute chaos.
Several cars off the road down at Chalet Creek.
Some sort of crash between Skating Rink and the Village.
Snow down to 1km after Chain Bay 1.
10-15cm of snow where we are currently stuck halfway up from the carparks to the village.
Hopefully my mate was in front of all that.

Traveling down the Hume, temp has gone from 32 leaving Sydney to 13 degrees in an hour. Passing pheasants nest currently.

Sydney Obs Hill hit 28.5C at 5pm this arvo.
Really hit the coast about an hour ago.
From boardies n flanno to full winter kit and scramble to get the fire lit before it really kicked.
After sleet on the way in from Cooma to Adaminaby this arvo, it cleared up about 4pm. Now however we've got big fat flakes starting to settle at Lake Eucumbene. As night settles in, water starting to freeze up on surfaces, so expect the snow to accumulate overnight.

I reckon a solid 15cm.

Mixed bag of wintery mix at Island Bend 1430m just doqn from Blue Cow & Guthega. Temps have been variable, so too the propensity for flakes to stick - on & off. Much precipitation but little net accumulation thus far.
. . . and now starting to accumulate. Temp -0.2.

Left Sydney 4pm, car read 32C. By the time I got to within 30km of Goulburn it read 5C.
