Looking like a short sharp little spell at Perisher
Light snow on and off this arvo at Buller.
BB has over a meter amazing for this time of year .
Yet none at blue cow
Me thinks this was from earlier night. Nothing in Perisher gauge.
I observe that winter has slammed the door right in the face of spring at Mt Buller. I’ve observed some people I know whohave been complaining about this not being "spring weather" today, while I’m observing that it's actually perfect spring weather and feeling that spring should continue like this for much longer, and every year
I observe that I don't want to stop and smell the roses.
I want to move fast and smell the snowflakes currently falling.
Iobserve a noisy snow plough going back and forth outside my window for the last 45 minutes, with no signs of stopping, because what it cleared on the road this morning when I took this photo below, has now been filled in and I observe there’s still no bitumen in sight. I observe what appears to be snow still lightly falling, and that the snow plough is probably wasting its time
I observed very deep soft fresh powder here today and making fresh tracks every where all day, with hardly anyone else doing the same
I observed thes wombats here 10 days ago that can now get straight back in and hunker down in their burrows, and Gang Gang Cockatoos who just can get back and do the same in their nests, because I observe I'm having too much fun to let go of winter just yet.
Just before hitting Post Reply, I observe that the noisy snow plough has just left. I think it’s given up on a pointless task
I observe that I have been staying at this photo for 10 mins; the various browns, greys and white, plus all the shapes....an utterly utterly magnificent photo.
Why I love the Aussie ski fields so damn much
I observed Mt. Buffalo N.P. was looking very good with fresh snow on 9/9/19.
Plus I observed that Mt .St. Gwinear in the Baw Baw N.P. was looking very wintery with fresh snow on Sunday 8/9/19
I observed sastrugi forming on the slopes of Heathy Spur on 10/9/19 in the Alpine N.P.,Bogong High Plains.
I observe that I am a ski bum and drive to many different places to Nordic ski !
