    One last blast of moisture maybe now on the radar about to sweep across Melbourne and head up towards the alps. Hope it holds together and we may get another 5cm

    VIC slopes should do better than NSW.

    Still rainbands coming over the bay, real cold gusty w/sw winds here at Safety Beach, it'll be on and off all day!

    Another moderately heavy burst of snow in thredbo for the last 15mins... still coming down.

    Looking at the airlan perisher valley cam looks like it's starting to blow in over Perisher.

    Seem to have stopped at Thredbo 5-10mins ago but coming down again now looking at the cam.

    Umm is anyone else seeing a magical rainband that is slowly disappearing on the WZ vic radar, but not visible on any other radar (like zooming into melbourne radar). WTF?

    Yeh don't know what's going on there. Did you get all excited at first that there was another rainband coming through?

    Rainbands are still coming across the bay here, wind has gone but its still real cold.

    Up at PB and Smigs from 10 til 3. A few very light flurries with the sun still shining and 10,000 flakes swirling down from a blue sky. Melted on my jacket a few seconds after hitting. Winds much lighter than expected so quite pleasant with snow not melting on our boots. IMO the cover is undamaged and will be just as good tomorrow..... W

    Since this system is now dead our rainfall total was 37mm at Wandin East taking us to 55mm for the month.
