Predictions for the next Spencer Creek measurement?
I'll go for 93cm
I reckon this system is going to do quite well up high. 102cm
I mentioned several weeks ago that 2017 was going to be like 1989. I might've been onto something...
93.8 this week.
First time entry for me. Hope I'm not invading an invite only club.....87.9
And another thing, 1979 and 2017 are so similar to each other.
My year of birth.
From memory, 1979 wasn't too great...
84.66777123333.........well packed cm
I don't think we'll quite crack the 1m mark. I'll go 98cm.
83.8 Some extra settling with those slightly warmer temps
And @Miffy is this week's winner of the 'Jellybeans in the jar' competition, bang smack on with 88cm (well, according to Perisher who claim Spencer's Creek depth to be at this level - Snowy Hydro must tell them before updating their website for the rest of us).
Waiting for Correct Weight...
bloody compaction gets me everytime.
I reckon I would have been the winner if it was measured 2 days ago!
So we've beaten 2006 already
88 I do believe
Correct Weight. @Miffy has gone back to back (by The Price is Right measure)
Still fairly grim for Late July IMO and with not much coming in the next week either
You'd want to pray for a big August at this rate.....
...and the likelihood of that????
IMO unlikely however stranger things have happened before look at 1992 or 1984 season historical snowfall for example
WTF is with that Snowy Hydro website? Can you even get the data anymore. I think Rhonda has been tweaking it.
The way things were looking set up wise in May i said if anyone was curious as to what 1992 would have been like without the volcano , then this winter could well provide the answer. IMO we are travelling better than considerably better than 92 to this point.
It's still looking very much like 2015, IMO...
I think it looks just like 2017.......
I'm going for 94cm this week.
With snow showers forecast for the next few days and having had 10cm overnight I'd say strong chance for > 100cm SC depth reading this week
I'm going to say 117cm.
From riding today early call of 132.6cm
Going all in for Tuesday night Wednesday system......
My first time having a crack at this..
I'm all in a 107cm
certainly hope im wrong and youre right @loweee
last weeks 88 + 10 yesterday,....
I'm going 115 cm
@loweee walking across the creek at Perisher today I thought it looks like a depth of 130, but we just haven't had that much new snow since last weeks reading.
'Tis an interesting season 2017, seems to be filling in really well for the amount of snowfall we've received!
My guess for this week will be 118
Its stayed pretty cold so little meltage
It will have consolidated though... 108cm
I was in the pool! I was in the pool!!!
A bold call!
101cm for me.
Last weeks reading was lower than anticipated because it blew from the SW for a few days so would have not been favourable for the Spencers Creek slope (which faces south east). With north westerlies over the last few days the depth may surprise.
Whatever @Miffy says...
I'll say 132cm.
