Windy and showers on and off in North Canberra. Still plenty of stars though every now and again its coming though in waves sort of. Temp feels a bit like winter not like Oct but not to cold.

Edit coming down a bit heavier now 22:05

Second pic shows the snow covered table doing a great impression of a white-bum.....a brown-eye for us now that the season has finished with a really good 'dump'?

Incoming on the Melbourne radar, straight from the West, so it should avoid the Macedon force field.

Just back from Mt Buffalo. A few cm over everything, however 1C and a rain/snow/sleet mix. More snow than rain, felt close to breaking out in full snow.

Have some pics will post later.

Falls and Hotham seem to have received somewhere in the vicinity of 30-40cm.

If only the lift co's were not for profits committed to the happiness of ski bums.

It's all there for those prepared to hoof it.

This band crossing Melbourne should hopefully drop plenty in the ranges and give our storages some more water. Thomson, Cardinia and Upper Yarra only around 62-64% full, so plenty of space to fill.

Back in Stanley (780m asl), temp has dropped from 7C to 3.9C in 2 hours. Very steady rain, except about 5 min ago when it was mixed with ice/slush/snow. Only briefly, now back to rain.
