I wonder if there is any correlation to the hemisphere the olympics are held in. Is the snow better on a southern hemisphere year or a northern hemisphere year? Might be worth looking into.

 

It's conclusive both years that the olympics were held in the southern hemisphere Australia had above average snow. #bumperseason

I cant say it has everywhere , still a few whining ( cheese anyone ? ) about temps but what I can say that the switch has certainly been flicked around Tumbarumba. -4 at my machinery shed last night , 4 nights in a row of subzero nightly mins and 5 out of last 7. Max temp today gets to about 11c , currently at 9c. Last 7 days max temps 12 , 12 , 10 , 8 , 6 , 7 and 9.
Pretty heavy frost this morning as well.

 

Not getting into this again but I think Gerg maybe a little conservative with his absolute number this year , I am thinking more around the 190cm mark.
