    Opening times
The last day of skiing was great . Well at least for the first three hours. Perisher opened at 8am and day light saving started. Why not start all lifts an hour early and finish an hour early in spring.

In the lead up to the Sydney Olympics, you might recall that we went to day light saving time earlier than usual. So Perisher responded to this with keeping lifts OPEN an hour later than usual.
I spent a week there in the week immediately preceding the opening of the games. The crowds (by 2000 standards) had long gone, in anticipation of Olympics, I would guess. Combined with a great snow year it was one of the best weeks I've had down there.

Oh hell no, stay open later, it's a great time of day.

They won't though because of staffing costs and patronage.
