Had an excellent dinner, perfectly cooked, really nicely controlled flavours, thanks very much.

Then watched Jock at Ullr, nightcap at Berntis, doesnt matter what, have to love opening.

Telecrags day count = 1. 2 runs on FF on the classics, will post a pic when I get home. Thinking I might just do another couple on the way out, and make it 2. Its not cheating.

I like the look of the new HN runout.

    Knickerbocker for dinner tonight.

Saw the bride and groom at the top of kosi chair as we returned from a hike.

The Potbelleez were pretty good last night, +1 said we had the best view of a band that she has ever had. Little Nanook is ideal for a couple.

    WOOT!

Had a great day at Friday Flat with newbie friends today. They couldn't master J Turns just yet, but sure had a great time.

Also had lunch at Eagle Nest.

Most impressive thing was... a few lifties and people at River Inn remember me from last year!

Good pick up SuskiQ! That chair looks chilly as (or chilly ass, as the case may be!)
Guns have been firing tonight again - they are working very hard to get some turns happening in Thredbo.

The bridal party had pics taken up the top of the Kosi chair after the service. From all reports rather chilly in bridal attire, even suitably winter bridal attire... And a bit of fear factor downloading from the non skiers.

Still trying to work out if my high heel mangled feet are up for a slide tomorrow or not - I guess if the bride goes up...so will I!! [IMG]

    Ha ha!
If the bride wants a slide I'll take the board...if not, I might even be funnier than you on the clasics, and on two planks instead of one!

Indeed Lady Mamabear. I remember skiing the Thredbo halfpipe with Chris Booth when he was about 8. He was incredible little grommet back then, he was always a standout skier. Arkie and Marlee are amazing skiers too, very lucky kids with their backyard and opportunity [IMG]

I haven't got a pic of new beginner bowl or high noon, but I can tell you that the new beginner bowl will be out of service soon if there isn't any snow fall or snowmaking.

    This is Friday Flat today.

Yes, I think it is a good improvement. Friday Flat is much bigger now.

The only thing I still can't understand why they did the way they did was the end of new HN runout. The run joins back to FF (Giddy-up) in sharp angle. Why didn't they cut it a bit further down and make it narrower angle? That would also avoid collision between HN traffic with runaway Giddy-up beginners.

I really like the new beginner bowl on the other side of the buildings, past the roundabout.
It REALLY creates more space - and splits up the mass of beginners with the expansion of FF proper, and this addition.

There was no queue. Not many people on the slope either. I'm still a beginner so it was okay. I want to go up the Cruiser now, though.

Not sure about today. If snow is to little, I might give it a rest and just do some work. I've been to lazy to work in the past few days, over 100 emails to answer!!!

We're sacrifying Friday Flat for the upper slopes. Let's hope that either there is enough snow to open the Cruiser/Basin or the village temp drops low enough to snow at Friday Flat, or there won't be anywhere worth riding on tomorrow.

Not that I skiied or boarded today. I stationed at Friday Flat Bistro from 09.00 to 16.45 working and reporting the weather all day. [IMG]

I'm prepared to do snow dance, naked, at Friday Flat tonight if that would mean Cruiser/Basin to open tomorrow! [IMG]
