Guns are firing at Yabby Flays, Happy Valley and Mnt P as well. At least the temps are low enough.
This is what we have been reduced to...
They'll have special reduced early season ticket prices just to use the magic carpet
Stay on topic.
I have a freedom pass, can use the carpet for the entire season.
Opening weekend looks meh.
Alot of follow up after though
Period of 13th to 18th June looking very tasty
yes some interesting things showing up on the back end of EC for that period.
Also the spag
For another thread @Donza
Yeah I know
Is there one?
No, but it doesn't stop you creating one - or discuss more broadly in the BBQ thread.
I can only see light snow up high for what my opinion is worth....gleaned from regular data sources. Will sort of make for some wintry atmosphere during the music festival. Expect to see a couple / few cms by Sunday morning gathered in areas and on the trees if it makes it that low. Looks like I am heading down...
From picnicing & sunbathing weather just a week ago to snow & slim chance of a run opening by Monday. Reckon we're not doing badly....
I'm just glad I have a season pass and nothing to do for the rest of the year...
I predict a lot of Freedom Pass holders will skip the opening weekend. 14th could be busy though...
I predict there will be some Freedom Pass Holders there on the weekend, soaking up the atmosphere and playing on the man-made.........
lol will you be at the top of the daily myride charts on day 1?
11 vertical mtrs at a time!
I predict that I will be skiing on man-made snow in the beginners area at Perisher on the opening week-end. No natural snow is forecast.
...........(is that on topic?).
I predict that I will be walking to the top of Front Valley and rolling down like a little child on the grass.
Or tray sliding on the trays from Mid Station...
It is colder today than other days which is a good omen.
i predict it will be cold with snowmaking guns firing and only a little snow falling.
i predict the race squad will be doing dry land training and i will be fishing.
I predict myself no longer attending opening weekend celebrations due to glandular fever making a return. god damnit.
enjoy up there this weekend guys, praying for ullr to drop some snow.
i feel its only going to be a slight dusting tho, at least the snow makers have been cracking last night
I predict you will get well soon!
Team Bears falling asleep waiting for ground cover....
Feels like winter in Jindy. Fire going and a glass of red. Temps in the negs in the mountains already so they will be trying their hardest to make some snow for a magic carpet ride!!!! Not the first and won't be the last time there is no snow on the opening weekend. Beats a rainy Sydney.
Should be more than 30 cm before the weekend. This will be caused by stratospheric seeding from the fortuitous asteroid's dust retinue. Book while you can. Telem bbb sent u.
I concur, got the heater on and the red wine bucket (glass) full, crisp air in essendon, not cold but low cloud zipping north east, sat pic has juiced up a bit, moisture band starting to look more prominent and extending further west than most may have thought, not much in it IMO but some heavy squally downpours will pretty up the hills.....make em more our kinda colour......❄️
Looks like perisher will get a lift spinning today.
As you can see by the cams....a bit of snow about. Still falling lightly with sun breaks. Big music weekend here at Perisher and last night Sneaky Sound System in the plaza at Thredbo under a brief snow shower. Given up on beer count....
very light snow drizzle now at hotham.
some snow guns going
Bit of natural snowfall overnight and today has left it's mark up high at Thredbo.
It's a start and was way better than when we drove in on Friday!
Might get some south-east action tonight in NSW. Temps cold enough and incoming precipitation from the coast of Vic. Good weekend even without snow.
Looks good for Thredbo maybe 5cm tonight. Perisher doesn't do as well from SE.
