Still getting life out SX91 boots in 2005? Never had a pair but some people I know loved them. I'll leave comments about the jacket to others.

    SX91 Equipe, please.

SX91's were for the peasants. LOL

BTW .... Ran them till 2010. Only changed them because they broke. Great boots.

I was super keen to do this (scenic chair lift) - then walk to top of Koscisuzko... if that's what you mean by Kosi lookout. However advice I got on the Thredbo forum was to avoid it (I have a 2.5 year old I was planning to bring in a baby carrier) because the weather might change and turns really quickly. Should I re-visit that as an option? Or with a child no go? However I was really keen on doing that.

The lookout is not so far, easier to bail in a hurry.

There are plenty of hiking options down low, no need to do the Kosi walk.

Ah i see - Kosi lookout looks a much better option than climbing to the top actually...might consider this weather pending.

Weather and kids moods are everything.
    Go!
Enjoy the party atmosphere of opening weekend. Take pics so when your kids are ski bums they can stick thier old photos in forum threads and say ‘I was barely weaned and at Openinh Weekend celebrations.

Inability to decide, is a sign of head trauma. Buy a helmet.

What would be the point of the ice cream bucket? Beanies are the best! Protect against concussion and the fit in your pocket.

    I'll be skiing tomorrow :p

I start work at Perisher on Sat.

You might get wet. But it will reduce brain swelling. :D

If you decide to pinch a Goat Sunday. Yell out.

I have a season pass and I’m keen to do a day trip and check out Thredbo tomorrow regardless whether there is skiing/boarding.

Do you think I can ride the kosciuszko express with my season pass? It is just a winter pass, not the 365 one that allows mountain biking.

Winter season opens tomorrow, pass should be good to go I would venture to think.
