I was planning on going to Park City after Superbowl next year in Early February but I see that there is the FIS World Championship event at Deer Valley, Park City and Solitude.

I am wondering how busy it will be. I noticed that hotel prices are high but I since we are 6 months out, there are deals to be had.

    Thoughts?

Don’t even sweat it. On snow events will be very concentrated.

Have seen the same question on U.S. ski forums. Answer is generally not to worry if the reason for the trip is to go skiing all day long. Only downside is that restaurants will be crowded in the evenings in Park City.

Are you only going to ski in Park City? With or without a rental car?

World Champs are a bigger deal than the World Cup, but it's Freestyle not Alpine - Alpine World Champs is huge.

Yeah. Minimal on mountain impact are DV and park city would just be the base half pipe area.

Would still be better than the bloody Sundance Film Festival!
