We are travelling to Hokkaido for 12 days in Febuary 2020 and we're looking to go to furano for 4 nights before 7 nights in niseko the last week in feb.
We have a 1 year old so we thought a car hire from the airport would be better than public transport between furano and niseko etc. Also we would like to do a day or two in Rusutsu and Shopping in Kutchan.
    Question?
Where can I park in Hirafu...day and night?

Definitely check with your accomodation provider regarding onsite parking options.

The number of cars in Hirafu has skyrocketed in January, and there’s been a bit of a crackdown on illegal street parking.

There is parking near all the base lift stations.
Some restaurants and shops have a little parking, but not all.

I can show you a good spot to park in the upper village, it's pretty close to wild bills too! You can double park the people staying there and block them in and they won't mind, push their car around a bit with your car it if you need room. I believe they have a nice little kei car this year. What color is it @LMB ?

    In all seriousness,
Can't park at the big carparks near the lifts overnight. After 9pm I think.
Most accom have limited options for parking, but usually some at least.
If you get really stuck, can probably fit a small car at my place for a few days.
I left my car 2 days at co-op once before, not tried longer tho.

You could park in a corner at Niseko Village Hilton carpark and catch the bus when you need as a last resort option

Best to stay in Annupuri, better parking in that area.
