Some great closing comments and photos above. I can only echo what others have already said so well.

Thank you, all, for a great season. To all those I shared a lift, a run, a meal or a beer with, you are all champions.

Roll on May when we can all get excited about the season ahead.

At least 5 forum members in the top 10 on the leaderboard (not counting those coffees at Brunellis, @Billy Jack!). Well done to all, particularly @Normo who has battled on despite some significant challenges.

Back to here and there
Seems there's a pretty special group of people making this thread so popular and a delight to share a ski, coffee, wine, or 10,000 BBQ chooks
Being laid up for 6 weeks in the middle of the season was a bit of a suck but it was still a bloody great season for me thanks to all your reports, stories and pics sharing the happiness of the season and providing the motivation to get off my arse and have one of the best 4 consecutive days with a top crew.
So looking forward to next time when this well worn wrapper will be happy to share the love (anon;))
Cheers all:thumbs::)

Noooooooooo ............... It can't be the end !!!

Best of seasons folks. Gregzz and I have locked in next season's passes. I'll be in touch with the crew in May. You know who you are.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year, Team Perisher.

And congratulations to those others who took time to work on their turns, explore the side country, seek out the powder stashes, solve the world's problems over coffee and just enjoy the mountain stoke.

Hey epic pass people, do I need to take my Perisher pass with me o/s or will they issue a new one over there?

Was much impressed to get my eldest's local pass in the mail complete with 8 year old photo!

last year we needed to take our passes, but once you get there you have to go to a ticket office and get new passes issued. No cost and not too long of a process, although we did it during a blizzard when all the lifts were closed and we couldn't ski, might be a few more people lined up at the ticket office on a bluebird powder day.

Different RFI system in the US. So the Australian epic pass won't work over there. They will give you a new one at the ticket office of the resort you go to.

You just need identification.

LOL
They laughed and said it was time for new photo for young one this year.
Same pic since dot needed to be refreshed
Pretty sure the youngest hasn't been updated in quite some years either! Oh and I was impressed because it was the photo he'd had taken for his Perisher pass way back when, and it's been loaded onto his Epic local pass, bought through the US website.

OK so can leave the pass at home, just take passports?

pretty sure we needed them, but that may have just been used for ID purposes, I thought there was a number off the card they had to look up. In the end they take up no space, so I'd play it safe.
