There are plenty of people around. 5 min queues at the guthega quad chair, similar at mt P chairs this morning
Just for you The Blue Calf t bar - that one just up from the Burning Log
The vibes seem to be about when cases finally turn up in the southern region.ACT government seems to be giving vibes about potential border closure?
They opened it this afternoon to QLD entrants..ACT government seems to be giving vibes about potential border closure?
Wow Kelpie I just figured you were married!Another great day on snow at Perisher today. International was my pick for the morning ,well actually a line down through Sidewinder.
Met a friend late morning and spent some time through Sun Valley which was fun before heading to BC and tangling with a pretty ordinary Exellerator a couple of times.
I have found the VM chasers natural enemy ..... skiing with a woman damn this one could talk underwater with a mouthful of marbles
Oh dont get me wrong ,this lady being Canadian can seriously ski its just she hasnt yet mastered the art of chat on the lift and ski on the snowI have to say I was impressed that my wife skied faster here this year after our 30 days in Canada in 2020. A real improvement. Prob see you this week.
Hi @Ret-ro are you planning on hotel quarantine on return to Queensland or hoping border will reopen? I haven't given up on a late September trip to Perisher but am unsure about return to Queensland. They opened it this afternoon to QLD entrants..
Canberra has done really well so far. If they fall, I drive home to Q in September. But then in 2 months time , where will we be?? I might get 5 weeks skiing in yet.
thought @robbo mcs resided in Sydney......?Sth P groomers very good this morning. Off piste was decent as well.
Skied about Mt P noting @robbo mcs @Normo @Kelpieboy enjoying runs on Eyre.
Some early runs there as well then it was runs down Hypertrail and Sun Valley with @Billy Jack @Goanna and @SalleeGirl. No one on Hypertrail so fresh lines still there at 10:30 - ski almost to the base then a quick and easy traverse to Eyre T Bar (inter closed). Also managed creamy turns on Inter T Bar Track. Was untouched up until we hit it.
No lift lines on that side off the resort. Carpark only about 75% full. Decent skiing all round…..
Didn't he move north for temporary work? I suppose once he was out of Sydney for more than 2 weeks, he was free to go and "work" in the snowies.
