Tube is really expensive to add now - it's not the $60. I tried a few weeks ago, not worth the coin anymore.
get up earlier!slipnslide said:The only reason I changed my mind and wanted to add the Tube, is because my kid's a shocker to get motivated in the morning, we've got a week at The Station booked during school holidays, and I'm guessing the Perisher carpark fills up pretty early even on weekdays during those weeks?
Wont worry me, Im always in the front row anyway!robbo mcs said:Less parking spots at Perisher this year

How/why?
Go back to lunch at smiggs?slipnslide said:sly_062 said:Park at Smigs & take the shuttle bus.
I'd only do that if there were absolutely NO spots left in the Perisher carpark.
Besides, the bonus for me with driving is bringing food/drinks (Perisher food is ridiculously overpriced crap) - so parking at Smigs would be way too much hassle.

sly_062 said:Yep, they replied the next day for both times I emailed them.

Im always up early, just nature after so many years. Im always up and out of Jindy at 645-700 am. If you're stayying with me and I'm driving, it's my rules, you snooze you loose and find your own way. Never been stuck in traffic or not had a parking spot. My time on snow is limited so I want to make the most of it. Left people behind at the accomodation on more than one occasion, they all know better than to sleep in now!

Midweek, during school holidays - or just on busy weekends?
good luck sleeping in on a saturday at your placerocketboy said:Leaving the kids and others to sleep in sounds like a great idea - especially on those early track mornings. Drive up at 6.30 - back down around 11.30 - have an early lunch and then drive back up with kids. Maybe a little greedy on the carbon footprint - but it should teach them to get up early and on tired days days it's probably a good compromise that avoids stress.
