    Hey guys.
I cant seem to find anything clear about preseason at Buller, such as rules about whereyou can and cant go and the like.

I was thinking of taking my girlfriend up before season starts as she has never seen snow and i figure can take advantage of no gate fee.

Firstly, are we actually allowed to be on the mount?
And secondly, am i allowed to throw my board in to hike a bit, and additionally, would it be worth it?

    Thanks in advance :)

I don't know. Thought thread was about acid. Disappointed.

    Hey,
Yeah good on you for taking advantage of no gate fees.
You can go anywhere, the snow is on Bourke St
No rules really, just be out of village by Friday opening weekend
I am presuming your snowboard? Not great snow and the snow players might take up the remaining slope. Could be worth it.
You can walk to the summit, might be slippery.
    Nothing open til opening weekend
Should be good for a snow play and maybe a slide.

little kid was attempting to ski down bourke street when I went to the post office
earlier, he was struggling with the thick unpacked, not very dry snow. Many others
are tobogganing around the same area. They might open Bourke street for skiing
next weekend. Guns are on again tonight.
