well you can argue if you like... and bring up some examples .
based on the MW algorithims and so forth.. which tiles the model uses and its parameters.
Perhaps it is time to reflect. 50 cm or some validity in earlier posts suggesting possible moisture downgrades.
I think dawooduck called it....disappointment. After much anticipation.

Cold pool spun up without decent 300 and 500 winds.
I think there is little left in this system, so it definitely is behind expectation.

Donza based his predictions on facts, figures, charts and years of experience. Which is more than many.
Donza's, CC's and Verm's predictions, were the greatest reason for me joining this forum. I have nothing but respect for them. #Nuffsaid

ie the models didn't show a 6 hour snowfall event in the blue mountains (ie blackheath) either.... they had 0-2mm at 3 degrees for lunchtime.
From where I'm sitting "event" is a slight exaggeration.

To underestimate for fear of being wrong(conservative and or inconspicuous) is just as wrong as having the opposite view.
I didn't see it snowing in Orange.
The clues were there yesterday, though, it hit SA way too hard, which is a sure fire indication it's heading north.
