Perhaps the last hurrah of the season (at least while lifts are running) EC has been pretty solid on this for a few days. Monday Tuesday Wednesday Temps on Monday will be marginal to start. Some shadowing effect from Tasmania Tuesday morning then should be good at least for NSW Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. IMO
up at hotham til tues but it doesnt look like ill be able to use the 'snowed in, cant get off the mountain excuse'
Jane is on board, calling 5-10 cm. Tuesday-Wed although I think she has modified her initial forecast.
ASX starting to come onboard. 850's come good late Tuesday. But Uppers lagging cold pool. So R##n Monday into Tuesday. Then 10 -15cm Tuesday into Wednesday. IMO.
which is all falling in line with the mean on the spag. EC ........then axs...72 hours nothing else matters
Looks like 10-15mm precipitation. How much of that falls as rain depends upon the elevation, as it's reasonably warm initially. IMO
EC has bounced back for Perisher this Monday and Tuesday But then it goes bezerk the following Tuesday 29th totalling over 30cm for the next couple weeks! Any real substance in this?
Models are notoriously unreliable over the changes (spring and autumn). I'd hold your horses until it's a bit closer.
Which, is now closed. Good one parks Vic. Has been open on far less mid season. Local businesses must love it.
i see speckled behind the warm front off Adelaide so maybe even snow here at hotham by mid morning? or is that a hope cast
nice to see some real cold coming through this week! all snow falls for the past 6 weeks have been Mon-Wed (with weekends warm and clear which has been good for resorts) I see anything open on Wed to be fun, fresh, cold and dryish snow - pretty good for late sept
If if fills in the tracks off piste, and holds up the melt til the weekend, as it looks like it should do, I'll be very happy.
I'm in Harrietville right now, I can hear the wind, it's getting slowly darker, all cloud south. The forecast says snow down to 1100m tonight.
