    Good part of the world. As far as i can tell, I've been within about 100km of there. Cycled south west from Yushu many years ago (early 90s), before being turned back and taking other routes NW. Might have been in trouble with the boys in green a number of times. An inspiring place for the most part (the number of prisons in the greater region to the contrary).

    People that followed pro cycling in the 80s might know Nathan. Nowadays hes a mountain guide in NZ, pretty hardcore adventurer.
