renting chains?

    where is the cheapest place to rent chains on the way up to Buller?
    what would be the average price for renting chains?
    at what price would i be ripped off?

    there are plenty of chain hire places in Mansfield , also Merrijig and the general store at mirimbah

    $20 at the Arlzberg in Mansfield today. No wait unlike the Mt Buller place on the main road, which was shite with service this morning

    If you have to hire gear (skis/boots/poles) as well, Mansfield Buller Sports do free chain hire. I think their gear hire is slightly higher than other places, but if you want an all in one place...

    evil teddy, I think most rental places do free chain hire if two adults hire skis/ snowboards.
    I guess you could drop into each outlet and have a chat and check out the gear

    I wasn't sure, I just saw their banner outside. I own chains so I'm not really sure on hiring them.
