Not sure if these are salvageable but I would Love to get two more seasons out of them if possible.
They have worn down almost to the plastic on the toes but the rest of the soles are still good. Too much gravel walking unfortunately.

If the toe tech inserts are undamaged, then shouldn’t they be OK if you’re using tech bindings?

Yes they work fine now in my kingpins I'm just worried if the rubber is all worn away there how quickly will plastic wear down when I'm walking in them, it's already worn a lot around the pin holes.
Thought maybe I could build it back up with something to offer some protection.

I do also wear them in alpine ski bindings (AT height adjustable) but those are my icy day skis that I use less often.

Had a similiar issue with toe wear.
I used Selleys ShoeFix which did a good job.
Make sure you clean up the sole extremely well (wire brush) to get rid of any grit, dirt and loose bits of the sole.
Take your time and build up in thin layers and leave plenty of time to cure between layers.
Make sure not to over build and smooth off so the binding still hold and release properly

You’re asking someone who gets new skis instead of tuning them!

    Ergo:

Jokes aside I have heard of touring boots being re-soled but I think it’s a little trickier if they’re being used in a non-pin toepiece as there’s no way to ensure the ISO 9253 standard compatibility. If they’re pin only you have a lot more latitude.

As one who has repaired lots of leather boots it depends whether any glue will stick to the plastic.
Seamseal / urethane glue is the gnarliest glue I know and it doesnt like greasy plastics.
Have you been walking out of Mt Cook ?

Yeah get cat tracks. We insisted our kids wear them when they were of an age where the main purpose of walking anywhere in ski boots was to destroy the boots by dragging your heels or kicking things. Those boots are still in quite good shape.
