    the news said that a 6.2 earthquake struck iiyama and nozawa. It also said that the cable of the gondola fell off. Any news please

    train has been "broken" from what I was told, we have had about 80 injuries in the village and the gondola didn't fall off the cable.That is all I have at this stage.

    As far as I can tell the epicentre of the biggest Nagano quake was very close to Ryuoo Ski Park

    There are some road and rail line collapses around the Nozawa region. No deaths reported but some property damage was shown on the news.

    Just saw the end of a news report where they were showing a ski field with lots of glade cracks through the runs. Not sure if it was Nozawa though.
