I understand the pretty tags are good, but when you look at the thread title on, for example, the default ski.com.au page you can't tell which thread is Prediction and which is Observation without delving into the specific forum or threads.

    e.g.

22-27th Predictions thread title is good
1-3rd Predictions thread title is bad.

    :)

@Ian D - can we get the thread prefix to appear on the forum default page?

As in active topics - it is there.

"Forum default" page has no threads, just the sub forum names.

So do you mean the front page of the site? ie ski.com.au front page?

On the ski.com.au site page, when you scoll down past the cams, past packages to the 'Forums' section, it has blocks of 5 threads from each forum...

    edit: and on

    http://ski.com.au/forum/index.html

    same issue...

Those are published by the CMS parsing the xml feeds provided by the forum - the xml feeds for some reason do not write out the prefix in the title. I'll look into seeing if I can edit the template that drives that somewhere in the code.

I'd prefer to keep using the prefix tags because they are clickable and become a filter for all threads tagged with the same prefix - which is very useful - in the meantime feel free to double up by putting the prediction or obs in the title as well
