    Hi Guys,

Anyone stayed in these? Booked it for the first time with the Mrs. Another couple are keen to come down and join us. Website says there is a fold out sofa in the living room. Could this accommodate an adult couple? Thredbo say "no" but trip advisor says "yes".

We have been allocated cabin 6.

You do wonder why they tell you about it if you are not allowed to use it.

Issue for Thredbo is the number of bed licenses allocated to that cabin.

i stayed in a riverside cabin one summer. it was beautiful but I was not really expecting the "stairs" (aka ladder) to be so steep. seriously considered sleeping on the sofa instead but didn't actually open it up.

Never stayed there, but experience tells me that sofa beds are fine. As long as you are the one not actually trying to sleep in it.

When i worked in central res and sold these we were advised to tell people cause it might be two mates who want separate beds.

On the comfort level, a sofa bed is never comfortable! I would personally bring an air mattress.

My parents just got some feedback where it seems the parents put the kids in the queen size bed and them themselves slept on the sofa bed. Apparently they were not impressed with the sofa bed!

Now we used to use this flat as our holiday homes before it was put on stayz. My parents got them best sofa bed possible (inner spring mattress and all ) and also spent a small fortune on the queen bed in main bedroom. Because we slept on them!

But a sofa bed is never comfortable, especially for two people.

They'll allow 1 person on the sofa bed. Depending on the cabin they can be.... Uncomfortable at best

Ok but comfort aside they fit two people? Like they are wide enough?

I've stayed there twice. I think I slept on the sofa (it was a while ago).

I like the Cabins and the Sofa was fine if you're not fussy

So it turns out that the sofa is indeed a double but they do not promote it as such for reasons already outlined.

I kinda didn't even understand why that was even a question!

There's single sofa beds around. The main issue is the property manager doesn't want 2 people on the sofa bed. Make sure the couple on it doesn't break it ;)

I just stayed there (in a room in the 20's though I think) and slept on the sofa. It was fine, but short - over 5'11 your feet will hang off. If the sofas are the same across all cabins they will be fine for a couple of days.
