    Hi All,
I've been told that there's a public road that leads to somewhere in the area of Cesjacks hut, ends at a national parks gate or something.
Is there someone who could point me to this road, and which main road it starts from?
I'm keen to try a trip out hat way this year.
    Thanks!

It varies. I drove a Subaru WRX to the park gate in April 2002 without much trouble. A couple of years later in a Subaru outback I barely got over the Bulls Peaks river and had to park at the next hill (along with some proper off road 4WDs) due to slippery conditions. The adventure however was getting out a few days later. It had rained and the river was up a bit. That was scary, but the next small creek with steeper sides took me by surprise as a bow wave came over the bonnet!

There's some good recent condition reports (from last summer) on that bushwalk.com thread if you go through it.

I reckon for the next "Bikegungal" sufferfest I'll plan to ride in via Snowy plains rather than from Round Mountain.

Fly fisherfolk would also be a good source of near current conditiins.

Bulls Peak was one of the sketchiest crossings i've done. Had to start steering upstream because the car was about to float away.

Don't drive across Bulls Peaks Creek if there is heavy rain forecast just before your return, it can come up very quickly and can more than double in width.
