Not sure about all that but I did note a few folks bending the knee in the resort. I was almost tempted to bow back but figured they were too busy bowing to all the skiers
OMG u dudes should have got the Mitta Mitta first attack dozer organised three weeks ago...then everybody would be doing doughnuts at C.Pass turning circle by now..I suppose it's just too much paperwork to get the professionals up there.No trees to push...kinda of job that is done in a lazy arvo....
Perhaps in coming years we could have the D4 sitting in the back of this vehicle ready for despatch from Eskdale ....and the NSW guys could provide refuelling support to the crack snow clearing team.

spencers depth reading is almost exactly the same as last year this time, 10/10/17 150cm, 13/10/16 141cm. Looks like a lot of snow has gone since last weekend
Recall skiing on fresh snow last year post resort closure. It's nowhere near the same quality this year. Still enough up high just the same.

Done. Note that I'll have an overnight pack so you'll have to hang off the back a bit to even it out
Gate was still locked this morning. Road very clear. Parking limited.

Skinned up Guthries. Along the ridge. Down to the turning circle then up to Stilwell.
Edit: skied down to the village then decided to skin up Eyre on the way home....gate still locked!

With my partner and son, but no toboggan, maybe next year he'll be ready for toboggan (20mo tomorrow). This year was just silly dad going off a mini kicker and getting 1ft of air

I got my Isuzu two wheel drive truck down and up that track. Just saying. Although had to get a run up, nearly hit my head on the cabin roof and had plenty of wheel slip.
How is the Everest compared to the old pathy in other aspects? Engine, comfort on road etc..
Cheese and chalk circa 800km on the clock after today so first real run and taking it easy. Put it in 4L hill descent on way down, just had to steer. 4L rock mode way up and just trundled up with not a hit of slippage. Who new modern 4x4 autos were so much fun. #converted
