Monday would be a great choice...Nah, next weekend, fingers crossed for a good one, taking some newbies, and I believe a slightly accident prone pro. Maybe a guy with one leg too.
Though I am tempted to skive off work Monday....
A truism at its perkiest.I dont technically have to work.....
Sounds perfect!Done. Should I pick you up from yours? Ill do a dayer.

Not sure about all that but I did note a few folks bending the knee in the resort. I was almost tempted to bow back but figured they were too busy bowing to all the skiersYep, you're in bondage.
Yeh. I could never work out all that genuflecting business. I thought telefolk were the omnipotent ones and yet they're being all obsequious. Not sure about all that but I did note a few folks bending the knee in the resort. Cheers, I'm going to wait until I can ride to the top, perhaps next weekendRoad was pretty clear @chicski. A lot of melt at lower elevations while we have been waiting for the gate to open. Easy riding as far as I could drive the car.
I'm skinning up that way tomorrow and will let you know. Surprised how little snow there was along the road and verges up to the gate. Perhaps there's more up past the base of Guthries.Cheers, I'm going to wait until I can ride to the top, perhaps next weekend![]()

Recall skiing on fresh snow last year post resort closure. It's nowhere near the same quality this year. Still enough up high just the same.spencers depth reading is almost exactly the same as last year this time, 10/10/17 150cm, 13/10/16 141cm. Looks like a lot of snow has gone since last weekend
I can confirm that the turning circle is clear. Looks ready to go.I'll keep an eye out. Word is gate will be open tomorrow at some point![]()

Were you there with your son on a toboggan?Gate was still locked at 13:00.
A1 family snow play at the T down from Eyre. New Everest handled the 14 degree climb out with ease, big difference from the old Pathy.

Cheese and chalkI got my Isuzu two wheel drive truck down and up that track. Just saying. Although had to get a run up, nearly hit my head on the cabin roof and had plenty of wheel slip.
How is the Everest compared to the old pathy in other aspects? Engine, comfort on road etc..
