Hi, I'm just packin the car tonight ready to head down tomorrow and was wondering what the cover is like? Do I need to bring a rock hopper so I don't trash my new board?

    well I mean it.

How many boarding days do you get in a year? I know I dont get many skiing days, but every single one of them I use the best skis and gear I got, no point for me really otherwise.

My advice is to do the same.

It's July, there is about a metre of snow in the resort and all lifts are open. How much snow do you need to take your new board out of cotton wool? PS In Oz we don't get 10m of snow in a season - so try the US if you are that concerned. OK (turn off bitchiness)..

To answer your question ads69, I think you will be ok with your new gear, just be careful in the more windblown areas, there are a few hazards still exposed.
