My flight got cancelled and Scoot gave me this voucher worth JPY 51477 which is approx $545AUD.

I am after $500 for it.

Terms & Conditions of Voucher:

This voucher entitles the holder to credit (of amounts specified above) that may be applied toward travel on Scoot marketed and operated flights. It may not be redeemed for cash.
Each voucher may be redeemed for one passenger only.
Travel must be completed before 15-Dec-14.
All standard fare rules and conditions of the fare(s) purchased apply.
If the value of the itinerary exceeds the voucher value, you must pay the difference.
If a voucher balance remains after purchase, it will be forfeited.
A voucher once redeemed, becomes void for further use and cannot be refunded.
Voucher is only valid for the payment of airfare, airport/ government taxes and any ancillary services/ fees directly levied and provided by Scoot at time of booking.
Third-party services marketed by Scoot including, but not limited to, travel insurance, hotel packages, car hire, etc. must be paid separately by the guest.
Voucher is transferable.

Paying $500 for a voucher valued $545 is kinda no go, if you ask me.

I was just saying. Not that I wanted to make any offer or anything. Scoot doesn't fly Melbourne so I would have no use of it.

Pardon my ignorance but I've never heard of Scoot airlines. Are they a sort of dedicated skier service?
Wife and I had vouchers for AA and they made us jump through hoops to transfer the vouchers to a family member, what's this airline like?

Have flown with Scoot nevermind from San Fran to Phoenix. No issues & good value.

It isn't bad. SQ launched it to compete with JQ and D7. Just another low cost airline - lots of in-flight selling, mind you :p

When Scoot newly opened I flew SYD - SIN - SYD for $280 including bags!
