EC going for some moisture tomorrow AM for CT's.

Good chance for Blackheath tomorrow morning IMO based on latest forecast.

I have never, in my lifetime seen a forecast max of 11 deg's for Richmond (Sydney).
Sure, Richmond has had 11 deg's maxes before (there was one last Friday under that rainband after a cold start - forecast was 16 deg's) but the BOM have never forecast one as far I as I can recall.
Ground breaking stuff from the BOM.

I think I've seen a couple of 12c forecasts for Penrith but yeah pretty unusual, especially for early June. I wouldn't be surprised if it struggles to crack double figures tomorrow. Low cloud should move through with the moisture tomorrow morning and really keep a kid on temps.

Currently 4.5c in Glenbrook at 165m ASL!

Yeah it is a perfect recipe for a very cold day with a cool and mostly clear night and then cloud and showers most of the day. Agree with davidg, with 925mb temps at around 3C at 4pm, sub 10 is not out of the question IMO. Whether tomorrow's max survives the 9am reset is another question though.

Hoping here in Bowral the cloud comes in early and keeps a lid on our max, so when the showers arrive we get some flakes. I have seen it snow here in the middle of the day a few times with similar crap uppers thanks to adiabatic cooling and orographic uplift over the escarpment but cant say i am confident.
Be interested in the thoughts of the more weather capable.

Definitely not one of the more weather capable, but imo there is definitely a chance of something frozen falling pretty much at any point tomorrow. I'm looking in particular the 1pm to 4pm range where there is probably a good mix of some of the coldest lower level temps and moisture. See the following for 4pm tomorrow, 1C at 900m and 4C at 460m. Gib (860m) will be the best chance imo

4pm was always my gut feel.
May be some downdrafts from localised TS that will lower FL.

Five degrees in Wollongong.
That's some cold air to the west...
Developing showers....
Could be on.
Some of these mins on the coast are the coldest I can ever recall in my 10 or so years weather watching. Bellambi 7.3, Kiama 5.1 and Ulladulla 4.3 (!).

Also -3.5 at Moss Vale is pretty significant, a temp like that is often the coldest it will get there in a winter. *-3.9 at 6:30.

Below zero in SW Sydney as well with that cloud and rain band inbound. Going to be some seriously cold max temps today. Meanwhile clear skies atm in the Gong.

Still -2.4 at Moss Vale as well and full thick cloud now. No longer a fever dream but actually possible that band could fall as snow in the SH.
Nevertheless it will be an incredibly cold day for our standards. Record low max for June for Moss Vale is 5.7°C. I give it a very solid chance of breaking that if full cloud sticks around
