I was up there on Thursday and it was grim...I skied on Monday afternoon and visibility was down to about 15-20 metres, intermittent rain and wind. The temps stayed around 5 degrees. Then we had some things to do around Talbingo and Tumut and the temps were a balmy 15-18 degrees. We popped back up to Selwyn on Thursday and the rain and the heat had decimated what snow they had. I feel awful for all of them (even though they were still charging $70 for a 1/2 day ticket) 2 maybe 3 decent fronts all season. I'm hoping that the snow that looked as though it was coming in on Friday afternoon was enough to crank up the snow machines and help with what mother nature sent. The video they posted looked as though things were a lot better but when you look at the background under the trees look pretty bare but I'm guessing that they are just making the most of what they have! Hopefully there will be something coming through in August so that we can get out there for a proper few days and enjoy it!!
