No. The main chute. I could not work out those tracks down Erics funnel when we walked backed up the ridge. They kind of stopped at the funnel and then started again at the bottom.

The SE face of Sentinel may have been good when the sun was on it (Midday), but the north face is just as good, and maybe steeper.

The Sentinel can be approached from the very bottom of Cauthers (James McCarthy Creek ?). Anyway, then you get two for one, and if you climb back up to the saddle and do the chutes further up the ridge then walk out the creek three for one. Decent climb but with crampons and snow shoes its not to bad. Especially if you left your tent nearby. Beats the hell out of lugging it to Guthega in the late Arvo.

Yeah Eric's funnel tracks were ours. We just got massive air through the middle bit.

Nah i think they just weren't visible due to the nature of the crux ie its too tight for larger radius carves, the tighter jump turns required tend to just scrape the snow away a bit. After 4 people it would be pretty hard to spot any tracks through that bit!

Say g'day to the bugger for me - I'm in a different line of work these days and don't get down his way much.
