Cold air and a little moisture approaching for tonight's weak system.
Pretty windy but a beautiful sunny day up at Buller otherwise. Pictures can never do the colours in the hills justice though. Spectacular.
Warm and windy at Perisher. 84kms at top of the quad. Very quiet. Snow softened early. Still a good day.
Rain band just passing through Melbourne.
Buller has picked up nearly 8mm of precip since last night. Looks like half of that was with temps hovering around 0c.
Maybe a dusting to a few cms in the cams. Still snowing.

Very mild down in Jindy, 11c, overnight winds have eased to a gentle breeze. Bin survived the night.

Couple of hours on blades and Team Bears are stuffed.Only moderate headwind from St Kilda to Station Pier though...ADO better than the bears expected!
A few crazies on bikes but otherwise pretty quiet here!
Another sunny day in Melb commin up...breeze down.looks like a nice one for Caroline Springs!
Cracking day at Hotham. The snow was hard packed first thing but is softening nicely. Plenty of snow. It looks like mid August rather than late September. A few obstacles starting to show on Blue Ribbon (see photo) and it's unlikely to make it to the end of the season, but can't really complain about that.
Upper Blue Ribbon.
Harvested some good quality corn this afternoon at my little secret farmlet at Hotham.
Doesn't look that secret
Beanie and puffer jacket doggie walkies just now.
Still feels like a winter's night here, BMs.
No snow in Caroline springs ....and weather is settled with mostly blue sky...mild morning ...still...above pics look enticing.....snow still looks white!!Team Bears throwing down a party pie for brekky!
Wind sock on Westgate bridge looks to be having a quiet day at least!

Snow cover is holding well especially in the mornings.
Nice - will be knocking off work in 2 hours for the drive up.
Aaarrrr there be a sea fog rolling north on the lake this morning
Few drops falling at Buller.
It’s actually kinda haily/sleety
A few drops fell in Jindy around 5:30.
Hailing in Jindy now.
Light(ish) r**n in PV right now. 1.8 degrees so hopefully turn to snow soon
Where? I'm at the van park in town, just had a brief shower here.
Across the lake. Heavy rain now.
Yuck. Starting to get a bit heavier here as well.

Lots of water in jindy of more drops overnight I think it's a few CMS for sure up top

Light rain just turned heavy and silent now... Thredbo valley/crackenback. Once I can escape a wound up toddler I can see if it's flakes...
I thought of putting a stubby out but that would be the height of optimism...
Rather bucketing still
No rain in Jindy ATM. Gee it feels good to participate in an obs thread again instead of reading it from afar
A dusting in PV overnight
5mm in the can at Moonbah. Very happy to have received that across the paddocks. More would be handy but better than nothing. Surprisingly coolish. Snow on the surrounding hills down to about 1250ASL.
