Cold air and a little moisture approaching for tonight's weak system.
Pretty windy but a beautiful sunny day up at Buller otherwise. Pictures can never do the colours in the hills justice though. Spectacular.
Warm and windy at Perisher. 84kms at top of the quad. Very quiet. Snow softened early. Still a good day.
Rain band just passing through Melbourne.
Buller has picked up nearly 8mm of precip since last night. Looks like half of that was with temps hovering around 0c.

Cracking day at Hotham. The snow was hard packed first thing but is softening nicely. Plenty of snow. It looks like mid August rather than late September. A few obstacles starting to show on Blue Ribbon (see photo) and it's unlikely to make it to the end of the season, but can't really complain about that.
Upper Blue Ribbon.
Harvested some good quality corn this afternoon at my little secret farmlet at Hotham.

5mm in the can at Moonbah. Very happy to have received that across the paddocks. More would be handy but better than nothing. Surprisingly coolish. Snow on the surrounding hills down to about 1250ASL.
