GFS has been fairly consistent for the last two days for this system. IMO
Shows prefrontal with some snow following IMO

IMO EC suggests more pre-frontal and less snow.

Interested to hear how this system is evolving - heading for Perisher/main range on the 25th/26th/27th.

My guess for a system at this time of year would be an overall net loss from the event thanks to the prefrontal, but a couple of centimetres of fresh to make the 26th or 27th a bit more fun?

    Aww, oh well.

I predict 100cm of snow... already on the ground. Just not falling from the sky. And empty slopes. And raincoats. It'll do.

Yep, agree. Nothing on AXS or GFS.

Should we start predicting high pressure systems & bluebird days instead? That's what spring's about.

Temps are dropping nearly as fast as the rain is coming down at PV and TTS. Any chance of an afternoon surprise ...
