I made a face mask Christmas Angel for my tree! It turned out better than I thought it would, especially when my Radiologist friend gave it a go for work and couldn’t get it to work.

Also... when PB saw the news article about the Koala in a Christmas tree he jokingly asked “can we have a koala in our tree too?”.
I said “sure”.
It took him a while to notice him.

I’m happy with the gift tags for this year also!

Northern Beaches, Sydney,
If that’s your house, Jasper, I hope you have solar panels otherwise I can imagine the electricity bill . Looks amazing, though. Reminds me of THAT scene in ‘National Lampoons Christmas Vacation’ ..... (I lack the skills to search and embed it).
Yeah that is my house,
We have been doing it for many years.

Electricity is not a huge deal because they all run on 12V adapters. We find it’s not too bad

It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas, and yes the year has flown!

We zoomed in this morning with my sister and spent a few hours putting up the tree. Still unfair that she gets to drink red wine whilst i’m on the coffee!

Yes it’s early ish but from here on weekends are precious!

Still managed to boost Bredbo’s economy this year even with shut downs, and added a few extras to the tree’s as well as the advents for the kids.

Kids added a Garland we used to use for work Christmas parties on the banister

Driving through Bredbo over the past 2 weekends....we were astounded at the traffic and parking. The road from Tuggs was somewhat busy. ACT plates EVERYWHERE. LOL

colleague told me yesterday that he bought a real tree on the weekend - $200!
we’ve had a K-mart fake for years now, so I have no idea of prices
still seems a bit steep
$200, wow it would want to be real and living

If seen some pretty good replica trees some are up there but man they look real

My post was last year but we went back out there yesterday and tagged the tree we chose, will go back in 2 weeks and cut it down (they start looking sad after 3 weeks). The price starts from $115 for a 6ft tree. I think ours is about 6ft. So I expect it will be near enough $115, but I guess we will find out on the way out with it LOL

It’s not the cheap option that’s for sure.

I king of get this now as you are paying for the experience and not just the tree.
