I believe The Charman of the Board has announced this will be his last season
Jumped or pushed, ala Leona?

Be nice to have some Baw Baw stakeholders on the Board who have a real passion for the mountain. I am sure there would be a few interested lodge members etc .. who would have real hands on Baw Baw experience with a desire to see ongoing improvements.

Funny you should say that
A new Board member was recently appointed, At least 4 reasonably qualified stakeholders applied for the position, but not one made it to interview

Don't really care what their WASP credentials or otherwise are, but what is their interest or commitment to Baw Baw. Have spoken to a few friends who are stakeholders on the mountain and they are totally frustrated with the unresolved allegations from last year and apparent associated Board support.

- Where is the Deloitte report?

The Age (June 10, front page, said the Deloittes report hasn't been released to the public.

I believe anyone can apply for FOI, whether they succeed or not is another thing. My understanding is that state government protocol dictates that when the person under investigation resigns for whatever reason, then the final report goes no further than the people who instigated the report in the first place, that would be the MBBARMB. However, not releasing it certainly implies there are aspects to the report that do not reflect very well on the board. In my opinion, with a new CEO, unresolved issues from last year and the witholding of the Deloittes report, a fresh start is needed, and this means out with the old, and in with a totally new board with true stakeholder representation.

Leona is now on the committee of DPBROS (or similar) (Dinner Plain Business and Residents Society) its function is to act as a liaison between Dinner Plain and the Alpine Shire.

If I am not mistaken, I believe she has a property at DP, so her involvement on said committee would not be surprising, especially with her experience.

anywhere there's snow
Couldn't The Age get it under FOI?
The Age said the foi copy was heavily blacked out. hmmmm. In other news, another rmb's director happened to leave for 'business reasons' when all these investigations were going on: Poor guy had already been through the ringer with ASIC and APRA in the past and then the ATO started looking at books too and documents about redeveloping bits of his rmb's hill.
