Need more space to store gear? Build a ski cupboard!

Cut slots in the shelf to hold skis, screwed a few hooks in for poles and there we go! Newts home for 4 sets skis, 3 poles, and a paddle (all mine of course!)

... I have a laundry cupboard free to good home for next few days if you are keen to give it a try!

Nice to see some proper skis in there, not sure it would work for alpine skis though their bindings are big and chunky.

... Cut your holes to whatever size you want!

Theres a pair of metal edge touring skis in there with fat cable bindings, can't imagine its much different. I did have to cut a smaller slot for skates!

if others are making a cupboard like this, just make sure your skis aren't hanging by their tips in that slot up the top.
wood core skis will be permanently deformed if they're stored this way. i learned the hard way :(

had a cupboard like this in colorado. we still fit 6x pair of skis with fat chunky alpine bindings by turning some pairs upside down. means the bindings dont overlap and notch together nicely. ashamed to say that i didn't come up with the idea.

my boot liners are so mouldy (uh, can be moulded out of shape) that im too afraid to store them on pegs like that.

Brand new and not unpacked as heading to Chile so thought I would keep the packaging for August flight travel. Can’t wait
