Had an afternoon session the Steve today, was the only skier other than Steve.
Having only been a resort skier was a little bit humbling especially when the only other skier is an Olympian.
Nothing but bluebird, nothing but the best day I've ever had on skis.
    Book it, it's worth it.
    I'm going again.

My apologies if I'm a bit frothy but it was seriously good

What is this magical experience you speak of?
Back country tours or in the resort.

I loved my trip out with steve last year too. Worth every cent (partic after a good snowfall) IMO.

(Back country Dave - get taken out and run around on a trailer hitched to a skidoo)

Curiousity ...Where does Lee take the punters skiing ? Safe to assume Mt McKay is one place.

First run was the northern side of what is labelled as Dam Site on the trail map, think this is more of a feeling out abilities run.
Then we did the both sides of the Rocky Knolls ridge multiple times, really nice with some tight trees mixed with open bowls particularly on the far side.
Then over to Mt McKay down the ridge towards the resort and down into the gully and out to the access road, then a few more into the same gully from the other side.
Then back to Rocky Knolls to finish.
All up 12 runs, apparently the record is 13.

After all too many years of skiing FC, we finally met the man this year. The bc skiing sounds great and if conditions hold up, we'll be having a full family experience.

    That sounds ok.

At first I thought it was just pay cash to hang with an old bloke inbounds, then heard BC with Lee.

Isn't he like 85 or something?

Would be in his 50's. He won a World cup Super G in Furano in 1985. I remember watching him smashing the Summit bumps at Falls Creek in the 80's.

$159 and you need a current lift ticket as you get picked up from the top of Eagle chair.

But that lift ticket can be a single tourist sightseeing pass @ $14- and when you consider the cost of a lesson it is great value isn't it

Not sure that you can use the single ticket if carrying skis. You certainly cant if you have cross country skis.

Hmm They have let me use the single ticket if I had a pack with me as well; but that info was verbal from Steve as it also applies to the snowmobile tours
