Join the conversation with a better online communityThere are NO youtubes featuring a two step turn using two arm movement, as in Effortless Skiing Drill One and Drill Two.
There are many comic efforts of exaggerated reverse shoulder slides (simultaneous top/bottom movement. )
Skis slide to one side as arms are flung to the other side.
Top windup should eventually not affect the turn in any way .
It is the blocking of that movement which makes it work, of course.

Following Natalia's edict, the top of his body follows his head into the new turn.

I just wanting to stress that "Effortless Skiing" is no parody.
And I have pointed out how the fastest racers in the world use the moves that are never included in our local descriptions because they violate the "Feet First" nonsense.
" Do nothing in the top of the turn" might be literally true, but what you bring there is crucial.
So, to ski like Reilly, book him one on one for a day.
