Nice mate. What would you say you had fall, about 8cm or so? and does it look like there might be more snow or do you reckon the skies are clearing up etc?
its been snowing all day today, can't accurately tell the snowfall, but yeah i'd say anywhere between 8-12cm. not enough to ski on yet but according to the reports some good snowfalls all weekend. hopefully more snow overnight. im itching to ride it!
Thanks for the pics posted. We will be going to the snow this year for the first time in 20 years (between 3rd to 10th August) & will be staying at Snowy Gums. The place looks absolutely brilliant with a bit of snow - I think we will be having a fantastic holiday this year. Now, just a little more snow please!!!!
I am pretty stoked we got a Smiggins moosher here. I really like the aspect in the pics, Thanks for posting BarDan, keep it up, even if its only on your mobile cam.
Is it just me? I can't see the bird in the last photo, someone please help me. It's like a really difficult episode of "where's wally?"
i was referring to the little birdfeeder in the tree... i'd imagine the bird feeding from it would be pretty faaaarkin cold! curto - which one were you?
Great pics mate.........stayed at Snowy gums when it used to be the Wildhaus, then it was the Astoria prior to it's current namesake.....gee that was back in 84.......great place then, don't know what it's like now. A
Thanks for the pics. You are neighbourly to some people I know...managers at The Lodge and owner of Lodge 21. Have a great season.
Thanks for the Astoria memories Used to work the bar there mid nineties with Heinz Richards the lodge manager. The restaurant was called The Waterfall restaurant (for obvious reasons) Damn Smiggs was funny back then. Peter and Don Flynn (Flinger) used to own/run Lodge 21 - Flinger had a million jokes under his belt. Hans and Margie Arnbusch at The Lodge, Siegrid and Colin at Snowline Shop, Joel and Belinda running the Smiggs hotel - Belinda pissed all season writhing on the pool table, the late night happenings at Willow, walking up the duplex late at night on full moon getting stark naked skiing back down, shagging in the Astoria hot tub, all the ski instructors living downstairs at the lodge......Doggie, Stoink, Henry......to name a few And 1995 had non-stop snow falling from July2 to Aug15. Thanks for bringing it back
