Not 100% if this is the right place for this but im running uncommon tyres and need to get some chains.

I cant decide if I should order 1 size up in width or aspect when picking chain size
i.e road tyre 225/65/16 = mud tyre 215/65/16
or road tyre 215/70/16 = mud tyre 215/65/16

Our current chains for our 4wd were just advertised as fitting mud and all terrain tyres @ x size so doesnt help me much.

Anyone know?

Mud tyre tread depth makes a huge difference to total rolling diameter.
